ArtHouseCoop's THE SKETCHBOOK PROJECT

Rifrákt members Stephanie Goode and Carolyn Hulbert have both participated in ArtHouseCoop’s THE SKETCHBOOK LIBRARY project.  Each participating artist receives a 6x9” moleskin notebook to fill with artwork relating to the randomly assigned theme.  Stephanie received  “the other side of the tracks”, which Carolyn received “travel” as a theme.  Once complete, the sketchbooks are then returned to ArtHouseCoop headquarters to travel around the USA on a gallery tour amongst hundreds of other books.  The tour starts in Atlanta, GA and travels through Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Saint Louis and Chicago.  The sketchbooks become part of a permanent library at ArtHouse’s new gallery in Brooklyn.
