Using the submission fees from each submission, we will award one artist with a $2,000 grant. Every artist who submits will be included in an exhibition at Brooklyn Art Library and published in a book documenting the project.
Both Stephanie and Carolyn will be showing work in the at the Brooklyn Art Library on June 25th for the Starving Artist Project.  In addition to the heads project, Stephanie is working with Carolyn to publish RIFRÁKT's first book, re-designing her personal website, and picking up freelance retouching work as well.

MassArt Annual Benefit Art Auction - April 10th

I have the priveledge of participating again in the MassArt Auction this year.  To be shown amongst other artists like William Kentridge, David Hilliard, and numerous others is amazing to say the least.

This year I submitted one of my panaromic images of Iceland, specifically of a village called Vik.  Its a seaside village about 110 miles from the capital - Reykjavík.

For sale is an archival pigment print, framed at 21x44".

The auction is seperated into 2 parts - live and silent.  Certain famous pieces are sold at the live auction with Skinner Auctioneers and the whole holding up your card with a number on it.  Its really exciting to see what sells and for how much. The silent auction starts on the preview date.  Here people are allowed to see the entire exhibition for free and purchase works at BuyItNow prices or make notes of ones they want to bid on. The Preview Date is Thursday April 8th from 6-8pm.

See the MassArt site for details and thumbnails of works!
